Departure from the hotel at 8:30am after breakfast to the Cacahual Hill, excellent natural viewpoint, where you can contemplate the extensive and cultivated Llanura del Sur or Valleys of the South located in the province of Havana; this area declared a National Monument is a mausoleum where the remains of one of Cuba’s independence leaders, Antonio Maceo is found.
Then up to the National Research Institute in Tropical Agriculture, located in the former Agronomy Experimental Station in Santiago de las Vegas was founded in 1905 (the oldest in Latin America).

Transfer to the urban gardens located in the Alamar neighborhood located east of the Cuban capital. In this site you can find, vegetables, root vegetables, ornamental plants and fruit plants. You can tour the garden, cultivation house, center for the production of compost and earthworms used for organic fertilizer. You will receive a specialized explanation of the activities carried out in the urban garden.
