Day 2 HAVANA CITY TOUR

09:30 Havana has to be one of the most exciting, intriguing and unique cities in the world. We have afull day to explore Havana on this private custom group tour to Havana.

City Tour of Old Havana starting walking tour of the historical center of Havana ( Old Havana section ) from the Templete, where Havana villa was founded on November 19, 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, finally visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the heritage monuments and buildings of more culture relevance in Old Havana, built on different centuries which have been well preserved like the Governor Palace , Palacio Del Segundo Cabo, which was second most important building in the colonial Havana, the San Cristobal de la Habana´s Cathedral and then the famous, bohemia restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio, the favorite of Hemingway and many others intellectual people , Cubans and foreigners for having the Mojito cocktail drink.

Entrance to the Partagás cigar factory, most famous havano cigar factory in Havana. Also entrance to Rum Havana Club Museum, where you will learn about the process of producing Cuban rum from su8gar cane.

14:00 Panoramic Tour of Old, Central and Modern Havana driving with the Tour Guide in Old American Vintage Car passing through the Revolution Square Stop to take pictures, continuing to Colon Cemetery, one of the most historical cemetery of the world and most significant in Latin American with more of 500 mausoleums, chapels and family vaults; enjoy some of lovely mansions on the Vedado and Miramar county. Visit Paseo & President Avenue, 17 Street between others majestic avenues of the City, going through the University of Havana, the Copeliaice parlor building, the Rampa, the first Hilton built outside USA in the fifties ( today the Tryp Havana Libre Hotel), visiting the Malecon Habanero (Havana´s Promenade 8 miles long road ), then Fifth Avenue ending at El Morro Cabaña Fortress. Entrance to the external area of the Morro-Cabaña Fortress, considered one of most impressive fortresses built by Spaniards in the America´s.

Day 3 HAVANA - VINALES - HAVANA

07:00 Early breakfast.

Visit the house of Cuban painter Fuster, also known as "Fusterlandia," the bizarre studio of artist José Rodriguez Fuster. Most famous for bringing the amazing designs of Gaudi and Brancusi to Cuba, he has adorned the surroundings of his studio enclave with brightly colored sculptures and mosaics.

Departing to Viñales Valley, one of the most beautiful areas of Cuba with their rare hills name Mogotes, fertile land where best tobacco leaf is grown. Place of wonderful caverns, little country routes and amazing landscapes.

11:40 Visit a Cigar Farm where you will see the tobacco plantations and the process of drying the tobacco leaf from where the Havana Cigar is produced.

Luncheon at Finca Paraiso (very interesting agro-ecological project with the best views over the Valley; family private owned restaurant).

14:00 Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave.

15:30 Visit “Mural de la Prehistoria”, giant wall painting of more than 100 meters painted on one ladder of hill “Mogote Pita”, highest in the valley. Painting recreate how was supposed to be the prehistorical era on Viñales Valley region, oldest geological region in Cuba.

Visit town of Viñales, prosperous Cuban country side town thanks to tourism and the development of small private business with rental of private guesthouse and private restaurant name paladar.

17:00 Back to Havana.

Day 4 HAVANA–BAY OF PIGS-CIENFUEGOS-TRINIDAD

Breakfast

Departure to Cienfuegos via Bay of Pigs.

Visit the Informative Center at the Península where an explanation of the region will be provided by the local experts; then visit Boca de Guamá where you will see the crocodile farm where indigenous Cuban crocodile named Rhombifer is feed and protect it to avoid its extinction.

Continuation to a beautiful swimming whole (cenote) name Cueva de los Peces which resembles a huge natural tropical fish tank. You could try a swim or snorkel at the International Diving Center on the coastal site just 200 meters away from the Cenote. You will get an explanation from Tour Guide about historical events occurred on 1961 when a Cuban exiled brigade of around 2,000 people disembark on the coast trying to topple Fidel Castro Government supported by USA government ( CIA operation).

Optional lunch, continuation to Cienfuegos for 1-20 hour.

Tour of Cienfuegos City, founded by French settlers who came from Louisiana, USA in 1819. This history gives it an air and architectural style that is distinctive from that of the rest of the island. This city appeal lies partly in the European flavor of its colonial heritage, with a wide Parisian-style boulevard and elegant colonnades, and there is an ambience to inspire Cuba’s most celebrated Son singer Benny Moré to write the words “Cienfuegos is the city I like best”. Visit the Martí Park, the Terry Theater, the Alameda (Central Park), the Seaboard (one of the prettiest Bay in Cuba); visit the Palacio Del Valle building best representative of neoclassic eclectic style in Cienfuegos City.

Day 5 TRINIDAD

08:00 Breakfast.

09:00 starting the Tour of the City of Trinidad established by the Spaniards in 1514 and lined with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, the town of Trinidad is easy to wander around and almost every scene offers superb photographic opportunities – from locals casually smoking their huge cigars on the doorsteps of their homes to old Chevrolets cruising by. Visit Santa Ana and the Major Square. Entrance to the Cantero Palace and Romantic Museum, entrance to the Canchanchara bar with a welcoming drink.

13:00 Lunch at one of best local private restaurant/Paladar like Vista Gourmet with a great view over the City of Trinidad.

After lunch visit The Potter House or Casa del Alfarero run by Daniel Chichi Santander.

The Santander family has bequeathed to the city of Trinidad part of its history dating back to 1892, when a Spanish immigrant taught all he knew about pottery to the young Modesto Santander. But it was his son Rogelio who made a success of the business with vases, jars, water filters, pots, and pitchers, products that were in great demand among the city residents of Trinidad.

Day 6 TRINIDAD –SANTA CLARA - VARADERO.

09:30 Departure to Varadero via Santa Clara.

First group will visit the Sugar Mills valley and ManacaIznaga tower and estate, to learn about how Trinidad became a very rich and prosperous city on XVIII and XIX Century thanks to the production of sugar based on the slavery forced it was brought into the island from Africa. Experience the Sugar Juice extracted from the sugar cane.

Continues trip to Santa Clara (100km).

Visit the historical center of Santa Clara City founded in the XVII Century, know the Vidal Park which is the historical center of the city ,, where most important buildings are located , close to which is the Theater La Caridad and other important buildings, including the Cathedral of Santa Clara. then visit the Ernesto Guevara Square and the Che Guevara Memorial.

Continues trip to Varadero.
