Cayo Ensenachos
It was Mother Nature who was compelled in turning Cayo Ensenachos in a natural relic, one of the most beautiful keys in the Cuban archipelago. It is part of a complex of small islands located in the northern coast of the province of Villa Clara. It connects with the rest of the territory by means of a 49 kilometer road over the sea close to the city of Caibarien.
Cayo Ensenachos was an old indigenous settlement and has 1.7 kilometers of extension in form of a horseshoe. The diversity of its ecosystem is complimented with a rich flora and fauna, many of them endemic in Cuba, united to an idyllic landscape that any visitor would enjoy. In its 2 240 kilometer shores you can find the best beaches of this gorgeous key: Ensenachos and El Mégano.
Diving is one of its most important attractions. The coral reefs, close to the coast have a great variety of corals and rich marine fauna.
