The program includes meeting and explanation by zoologists from the Cuban Natural Science Museums. You will visit the Natural Science Museum located in Old Havana; the house and museum of German scientist Alejandro Humboldt, considered the second discoverer of Cuba; Sierra del Rosario Mountains where you will visit Soroa and Las Terrazas; then to fabulous Viñales Valley visit Zapata Swamp, here you can find the Crocodile farm, Guamá and La Salina; then the city of Cienfuegos; Escambray Mountains, El Nicho and Caburní waterfalls; and finally the colonial town of Trinidad.
The Cuban flora and fauna state emblems consist of different species as the half of the 7000 species of plants in Cuba are endemic and nearly the 80% of the animals too.

Bee Hummingbird
This bird is the world's smallest bird species. This bird grows to a maximum length of 2.25 in. This species is an endemic bird species of Cuba. This species is usually found in forests, gardens, and valleys.
Cuban Trogon
The Cuban Trogon which is the National bird, its white, blue and red plumes echoes the colors of the Cuban flag.

Meet and greeting at the Airport.

- Day 2, HAVANA CITY TOUR

08:00 to 09:00 Breakfast.
09:00 leaving for Private Full City Tour of Old and Modern Havana, 9 hours.
09:30 starting the walking tour of Old Havana from the Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments and buildings more relevant from the different centuries all well preserved, the Palacio Del Segundo Cabo, the Cathedral; entrance to the Museum of Capitanes Generales.
Visit Callejón de Hamel (the Hamel Alley), the epicenter to the Cuban Afro-Culture, to be in contact with a very original street art gallery and Rumba dance.
13:00 Optional Lunch.
14:30 the tour continues by car or private bus going through classic and prestige Prado Avenue, the Grand Theater of Havana, the Central Park, stop at the Capitolio Building. Continue to Colon Cemetery (from the outside), one of the most historical cemetery of the world and the most significant in Latin American with more of 500 mausoleums, chapels and family vaults; enjoy some of the most relevant mansions of the Vedado on Paseo Avenue, President Avenue, 17 Street between others, visit the University of Havana, the Coppelia building, the Rampa, the first Hilton built outside USA in the fifties, The Revolution Square, The Seaboard, etc.
17:00 Visit to the External area of Morro Cabaña Fortress with a wonderful view of Havana from the other side of the Bay. Special opportunity for photos, you can also visit the monumental Havana Christ Statue.

- Day 3 HAVANA TERRAZAS SOROA VIÑALES

Early Breakfast.
Ecological tour will take you to the typical rural community and tourist installations of Las Terrazas and to the exuberant flora and fauna of the Sierra del Rosario forest, located in the new Artemisa province (west of Havana).
The tour includes a visit to the 19th century Buenavista coffee plantation, a visit of the Moka eco-hotel, a guided tour of the community to get in touch with the locals.
Optional: 800-meters downhill canopy tour on zip-lines where you can enjoy magnificent views of the landscape.
Departure to Soroa, known as the Rainbow of Cuba.
10:00 Entrance to one of the most interesting botanical gardens in Cuba, also visit beautiful waterfalls in the area.

Breakfast.
One of the most beautiful areas of Cuba with their rare hill name Mogotes, fertile land where best havano tobacco leaf is grown. Place of wonderful caverns, little country routes and amazing landscapes.
Walk trail Cocosolo Palmarito to discover the wonders of the Viñales nature with a local guide.
With your local guide will take you on a half-day walking tour. Visit a local farm where you'll have the opportunity to experience the 'guajiro's' way of life. Depending on the season, while at the farm you can choose to relax or help out with daily farm activities.
Luncheon at Finca Paraiso (very interesting agro ecological project with the best views of the Valley; family private owned restaurant).
14:00 Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave.
15:30 Visit Los Jazmines viewpoint from where you will have an excellent view over the Valley.

- Day 5, VIÑALES-BAY OF PIGS-CIENFUEGOS

Departure to Cienfuegos via Bay of Pigs.
Ciénaga de Zapata National Park, a must-see for travelers, is an attraction for wildlife lovers and intact habitats. It is considered an important area, recognized with the category of Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Among the prominent places we find the crocodile breeding center, La Laguna del Tesoro, Pueblo Taíno and Playa Larga.
Optional lunch in local restaurant.
Continuation to a beautiful swimming whole (cenote) name Cueva de los Peces which resembles a huge natural tropical fish tank.
Continues trip to Cienfuegos.
Tour of Cienfuegos City, founded by French settlers who came from Louisiana, USA in 1819. This history gives it an air and architectural style that is distinctive from that of the rest of the island. This city appeal lies partly in the European flavor of its colonial heritage, with a wide Parisian-style boulevard and elegant colonnades, and there is an ambience to inspire Cuba’s most celebrated Son singer Benny Moré to write the words “Cienfuegos is the city I like best”.

- Day 6, CIENFUEGOS EL NICHO TOPES DE COLLANTE.

Departure to El Nicho.
El Nicho Waterfalls, in Cienfuegos, a set of waterfalls and natural pools, where you can feel the nature.
The trail at El Nicho goes through dense forests. As you ascend the trail, be on the lookout for birds and lizards in the trees. The trail eventually goes beyond the waterfalls and ends at a scenic lookout thatoverlooksthe valley.
It is a nesting site for flamingos and other seabirds, a National Monument and holder of the largest stalagmite in Latin America with 67 meters high.

- Day 7, TOPES DE COLLANTE NATIONAL PARK.

Early breakfast.
It is an ideal place to enjoy the magic of nature in this region. It is considered one of the most exotic and beautiful natural parks in Cuba.
The Trails "Centinelas del Río Melodioso" has an area of approximately 5,000 meters long, which is covered in about 3 and a half hours. The river (Melodioso) has a special shape, with impressive waterfalls and natural pools. The area is home to a rich endemic flora and fauna. More adventurous and experienced hikers can cross the river to Poza Del Venado, to swim in the natural pool. Time to bathe in the natural pool ”El Venado” and the beautiful waterfall “El Rocío”.

- Day 8, TOPES DE COLLANTE TRINIDAD.

Today we will walk the “El Caburní” trail where you will be able to appreciate attractions related to the flora and fauna characteristic of the place, singular rock formations and interesting geographical features. Arrival at the Salto del Caburní, Natural Monument and distinctive symbol of the Escambray Trinitario, which offers its waters, from 64 meters high, to a group of pools where the visitor will find a place to rest and swim.
Distance to cover on the Trail on foot (round trip): 7 km approximately.

Tour of Trinidad, established by the Spaniards in 1514 and lined with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, the town of Trinidad is easy to wander around and almost every scene offers superb photographic opportunities – from locals casually smoking their huge cigars on the doorsteps of their homes to old Chevrolets cruising by. Visit Santa Ana and the Major Square. Entrance to the Canchanchara Bar with a welcoming drink, visit the Handcraft Fair.
Back to Hotel for Lunch.
