Shore tour Soroa and Las terrazas

Itinerary

A coach, with your guide on board, will first take you on a panoramic drive through Havana's exclusive Miramar residential area, past the national hideaway and on to the Rosario Mountains to reach Soroa.

Once in Soroa, you will visit the Orchid garden; up the Palacio de las Nubes (Cloud Palace), the area’s highest point; from there to the Soroa falls which measures some 500 meters high.

A welcoming drink will then be waiting for you at the appealing lakeside restaurant known as Rancho Curujey, where you can savour gorgeous views of the mountainside setting while finding out about the areas ambitious sustainable tourism project.

Next up is a visit to the remains of the old French Buena Vista coffee plantation and the leafy grounds of the Moka Hotel, after which youll have a chance to touch base with the locals as you take a look around the community.

Visit the home of the late renowned Cuban musician and composer POLO MONTANEZ and the home of the painter Lester Campos.

Then get set for a taste of typical Cuban Creole cuisine and a chance to kick back and relax at a local restaurant. As a final treat on the tour, youll also have a chance to go for a dip in the San Juan River, so do bring a towel and wear a swimsuit under your clothes if you plan to spend time in the water.
