DAY 1 HAVANA WELCOME TO CUBA

Day 2, -VIÑALES VALLEY-HAVANA CIGAR EXPERIENCE

7:30 Breakfast.

08:30 Departing to Viñales Valley, one of the most beautiful areas of Cuba with their rare hill name Mogotes, fertile land where best havano tobacco leaf is grown. Place of wonderful caverns, little country routes and amazing landscapes.

Visit Cigar Farm where you will see the tobacco plantations and the process of drying the tobacco leaf from where the Havana Cigar is produced.

Step inside the famous Fabrica de Tabacos Francisco Donatien cigar factoryin Pinar del Rio City.

Continues trip to Viñales.

12:45 Visit Los Jazmines viewpoint from where you will have an excellent view over the Valley.

13:30 Luncheon at local farm (very interesting agro ecological project with the best views of the Valley; family restaurant).

15:00 Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave.

17:00 Back to Havana in the late afternoon.

20:00 Welcoming Dinner with Caribbean Lobster at local private restaurant with water and 1 alcoholic drink/ or non-alcoholic.

Back to the Hotel.

Day 3, HAVANA-BAY OF PIGS-CIENFUEGOS-TRINIDAD

7:30 Breakfast.

Check out Hotel departing to Cienfuegos City via Bay of Pigs (Península de Zapata), biggest wetland in the Caribbean.

Visit a beautiful swimming whole (cenote) name Cueva de los Peces which resembles a huge natural tropical fish tank, and if the conditions are favorable, at a beach for snorkeling.

Luncheon in a local restaurant .

Departing for Cienfuegos City.

Tour of the City, founded by French settlers who came from Louisiana, USA in 1819. This history gives it an air and architectural style that is distinctive from that of the rest of the island. This city appeal lies partly in the European flavor of its colonial heritage, with a wide Parisian-style boulevard and elegant colonnades, and there is an ambience to inspire Cuba’s most celebrated Son singer Benny Moré to write the words “Cienfuegos is the city I like best”. Visit the Martí Park, the Terry Theater, the Alameda (Central Park), the Seaboard (one of the prettiest Bay in Cuba).

Continues trip to Trinidad and check in.

Day 4, TRINIDAD-SANTA CLARA-VARADERO

10:00 starting the Tour of the City of Trinidad established by the Spaniards in 1514 and lined with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, the town of Trinidad is easy to wander around and almost every scene offers photographic opportunities – from locals casually smoking their huge cigars on the doorsteps of their homes to old Chevrolets cruising by. Visit Santa Ana and the Major Square. Entrance to the Canchanchara Bar with a welcoming drink.

13:00 Back to Hotel for lunch.

After Lunch visit the sugar Mills valley and the Manaca Iznaga tower, to learn about how Trinidad was prosperous in the XVIII and XIX Century thanks to the production of sugar based on the slavery forced it was brought into the island from Africa. Experience the Sugar Juice extracted from the sugar cane.

15:00 Departing to Santa Clara City.

16:35 Visit the Che Memorial at the Square Che Guevara.

17:30 Continuation to Varadero.

20:00 Check In at the Hotel in Varadero.

20:30 Dinner at the Hotel´s restaurant.

Day 5, VARADERO

After breakfast.

Free Morning to enjoy Varadero beach and Hotel Facilities.

14:00 after lunch departure to Havana city.

City Tour of Old Havana starting the walking tour of Old Havana from the Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments and buildings more relevant from the different centuries all well preserved, the Palacio Del Segundo Cabo, the Cathedral.

Visit the Hall of Fame at the Hotel with 89 years of existence, a firsthand witness of Cuban History in the XX Century, enjoy the pictures of the many world leaders as well as famous figures from Hollywood and even Mafia bosses who has been at the Hotel in the first half of the XX Century.
