DAY 1, HAVANA

Welcome to Cuba!

Arrival at Havana International Airport.

Meet and greeting at the Airport.

Private transfer to accommodation.

Accommodation in B&B at Hotel NH Capri 4* or similar.

Day 2, HAVANA-MARIA LA GORDA (300.09 kms)

08:00 City tour of Havana to see best Havana attractions starting from Old Havana, visiting 4 Old main squares.

Visit the emblematic places of Old Havana including the Paseo del Prado, the Capitol building, the Capitanes Generales Museum (City Museum), the Hemingway most visited sites in Havana including La Bodeguita del Medio and El Floridita restaurant, both most often visited by Hemingway in the 40´s and 50´s.

1 hour American classic car tour through out Havana with a local tour guide.

Optional quick luncheon.

Departing by 1 Pm to Maria La Gorda (4.45 hours drive).

Arrival at Maria La Gorda.

Check In and dinner at the Hotels restaurant.

Day 3 MARIA LA GORDA

08:00 Breakfast.

09:30 2 dives from Maria La Gorda Diving Center It is a legendary diving destination located in the west of Cuba.

Scuba diving Maria La Gorda Maria La Gorda diving zone, in the Ensenada de Corrientes, is one of the most protected areas in Cuba with an amazing coral reef.

Day, 4 MARIA LA GORDA

The marine platform is very thin and ends very close from the coast with depths between 200m and 1000m.

Day 5, MARIA LA GORDA

Day 6, MARIA LA GORDA– VIÑALES VALLEY – BAY OF PIGS (500km).

07:30 Breakfast.

Early transfer to Bay of Pigs.

In the way visit visit Viñales Valley which you reach in 1.35 hours, visit the Los Jazmines viewpoint to get a magnifiscen view over the valley.

Visit the Tobacco Farm to appreciate the crop of the Tobacco Leaf and the process of drying the leaf after it is harvest.

Viñales Valley is the oldest geological structure in Cuba which emerge from the bottom of the Sea, you will see a painting mural on one ladder of a hill where the painter recreate how was the prehistorical life in the Viñales area.

Continuation to Bay of Pigs (Península de Zapata).

Optional lunch on a local restaurant.

17:30 Reaching the Bay of Pigs region.

Check In at the Hotel or private guest-house, a great option to experience Cuba, and meet local Cubans.

Day 7, PLAYA GIRON .

Transfer to dive Spot (Could be cave or open water).

About 30 meters from the shore, we can see, a striking underwater wall that is lost in the depths and covering the entire coast from Playa Larga to Playa Giron, accessible without boat. It is also an important place for its cenotes and flooded caves, fascinating for lovers of speleology or Cave diving.

Transfer to Cayo Coco via Santa Clara.

Visit the Che Memorial at the Square Che Guevara, from there to the Monument to the Derail Armored Train and then visit the Vidal Park at the Center of the City.

Walking tour in Santa Clara.

Optional Lunch in local restaurant.

Continues trip to Cayo Coco.

Day, 10 CAYO COCO.

Breakfast.

Cayo Coco has more than 40 diving points and a privileged seabed with large coral formations that are part of a barrier of about 400 km in length, considered the second largest barrier in the world, declared by the International Maritime Organization as a Sensitive Protected Marine Area (PSSA), the second approved by this organization, after the Great Australian Barrier Reef, this privileged seabed, turn into an unforgettable experience under the sea.
