A Program to know the more exciting attractions of the island of Cuba including 3 of the 4 UNESCO World Heritage sites: Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad. Combination in one tour of Heritage, History , Culture and Nature, interacting with the Cuban People. Since it is a tailor-made private Itinerary, it could be adapted to the interest and needs of any foreign visitor.

Day 1, HAVANA

Arrival at Havana International Airport Jose Martí.

Day 2, HAVANA

08:30 Breakfast.

09:15 Full City Tour of Old Havana starting the walking tour of Old Havana from the Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments and buildings more relevant from the different centuries all well preserved, the Palacio del Segundo Cabo, the Cathedral; entrance to the Museum of Capitanes Generales & the Old Havana Small Scale Museum.

13:00 Luncheon at La Bodeguita del Medio, a bohemian traditional restaurant in Old Havana

After lunch continuation of the city tour, visit the Prado Avenue, the Grand Theater of Havana, and the Capitol Building. Continue to Colon Cemetery, one of the most historical cemetery of the world and the most significant in Latin American with more of 500 mausoleums, chapels and family vaults; enjoy some of the most relevant mansions of the Vedado on Paseo Avenue, President Avenue, 17 Street between others, visit the University of Havana, the Coppelia building, the Rampa, the first Hilton built outside USA in the fifties, etc.

Day 3, HAVANA – LAS TERRAZAS – VIÑALES VALLEY - HAVANA

7:00 Breakfast.

7:30 Departure for a private tour to the western region of Cuba, starting for visiting Las Terrazas community Project.

8:45 Visit the Curujey Interpretation Center where you will receive an explanation about this reforestation Project, how it was, how has developed and what is expected in the future.

Visit the ruins of the French Coffee plantation, visit the community.

11:00 Departing for Viñales

11:25 Visit the Montesino Cigar Farm where you will see the tobacco plantations and the process of drying the tobacco leaf from where the Havana Cigar is produced.

13:00 Lunch at Paraiso Family Restaurant or similar Private Family Restaurant

Visit Los Jazmines viewpoint from where you will have an excellent view over the Valley.

Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave.

Visit the Painting Wall about the prehistorical life in Viñales region

17:30 Back to Havana.

Day 4, HAVANA –BAY OF PIGS – CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD

07:30 Breakfast

Departure for Playa Girón (Península de Zapata)

08:15 Travel through the densely vegetated Peninsula de Zapata swamp-lands, and along the beautiful Bay of Pigs. This is where the landing of counter-revolutionary exile army occurred in 1961. There is a museum here that recounts the events of this conflict which resulted in the first defeat of a U.S backed force in Latin America.

13:30 Arrival and Luncheon at Cueva de los Peces

Visit the beautiful swimming hole (cenote) name Cueva de los Peces which resembles a huge natural tropical fish tank, and if the conditions are favorable, at a beach for snorkeling. Visit the museum Bay of Pigs.

Continuation to Cienfuegos City

15:45 Tour of the City of Cienfuegos, declared by UNESCO a Heritage Site of Humankind (also Havana, Trinidad and Camaguey). Visit the Martí Park, the Terry Theater, the Alameda (Central Park), the Seaboard (one of the prettiest Bay in Cuba) visit the French Style mansion built by the settlers of Cienfuegos who came from Louisiana , USA in the XVIII century, visit the Palacio del Valle

17:30 Continuation to Trinidad City

Day 5, TRINIDAD

09:30 Tour of the City of Trinidad, established by the Spaniards in 1514 and lined with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, the town of Trinidad is easy to wander around and almost every scene offers superb photographic opportunities – from locals casually smoking their huge cigars on the doorsteps of their homes to old Chevrolets cruising by. Visit Santa Ana and the Major Square. Entrance to the Cantero Palace, entrance to the Canchanchara Bar with a welcoming drink, visit the Handcraft Fair

13:00 Lunch at Family Restaurant Vista gourmet, one of the best in Trinidad

After lunch departing for Tour of the Sugar Mills Valley, visit the Viewpoint, and the Manaca Iznaga, experiencing the Sugar Cane Juice and the explanation of the house the history and legends of the site.

Free time to enjoy the handcraft textiles being produced in the area
