Visitors will visit la Havana, Guamá,Trinidad, Camaguey, Santiago de Cuba, Viñales, Cayo Levisa, Soroa y Las Terrazas, where they will get in contact with its inhabitants and get to know their habits. Clients should be in Havana on Friday to begin the tour on Saturday.


Day 1 (Friday) HAVANA

Information Meeting. Departure for Zapata Swamp, where the largest swamp in the Caribbean can be found. Visit Crocodile Breeding Farm, departure by boat to Boca de Guamá to visit Guamá, visit Taino Village reproduction. Lunch at restaurant in the area. Transfer to city of Santa Clara, panoramic tour of the city, entrance to Che’s Mausoleum. The trip continues to Trinidad. Accommodation in Ancón, Las Cuevas or Costasur Hotels. Dinner in Hotel. Free night .

Day 3 (Sunday) TRINIDAD.

Tour of the city of Trinidad, declared by UNESCO a World Haritage Site. Visit Romantic Museum, La Canchánchara Bar. Casa del Alfarero. Free afternoon. Accommodation in Ancón, Las Cuevas or Costasur Hotels Dinner in Hotel. Cena en el Hotel.

Departure for Camagüey, in the tour, visit the Manaca – Iznaga Tower, the center of the Valley of Sugar Mills, an area which was one of Cuba’s most prosperous regions in the 17th and 18th centuries and still keeps its splendor thanks to sugar cane production. Panoramic tour of the city of Sancti Spíritus. Lunch at local restaurant in Ciego de Ávila Arrival in Camagüey, panoramic tour. Accommodation and dinner in city hotel. DAY 5 (Friday) CAMAGUEY – Santiago de Cuba.

Breakfast. Departure for Santiago de Cuba. On your way, visit the City of Bayamo, Cuba’s second oldest city, founded by Diego Velásquez in 1513. Lunch at city restaurant. The trip continues to the city of Santiago de Cuba. On your way, visit the Sanctuary of El Cobre. Accommodation at Las Américas, Bucanero or Versalles Hotels Dinner in hotel. Free night.

Breakfast. Visit the Old Cars Museum. Visit La Isabelica Estate. Lunch at local restaurant. Tour of the second most important city in Cuba, full of history and music. Capital of Oriente (the Eastern provinces) and Cradle of “Son” and of the Cuban Revolution, visiting the Moncada Barracks, Céspedes Park, the Museum of Piracy in Morro Castle. Breakfast. Departure to Viñales Valley, in Pinar del Río, Cuba’s westernmost province, where the best tobacco in the world is grown. Visit Cigar Factory. Tour of the valley, visiting the Prehistorical Mural. Lunch at local restaurant. Optional visit to the Indian’s Cave. On your way, visit Casa del Veguero to take a look at tobacco plantations (in tobacco growing season) and its process. Visit Los Jazmines Observation Area Accommodation at Los Jazmines, La Ermita, or Rancho San Vicente Hotels. Dinner in hotel.

The plaza was originally called Plaza Nueva (New Square). It emerged as an open space in 1559, after the Plaza de Armas and San Francisco. In colonial times it was a residential neighborhood of the Criollo plutocracy. Plaza Vieja was the site of executions, processions, bullfights, and fiestas all witnessed by Havana's wealthiest citizens, who looked on from their balconies. Plaza Santa Ana, located at the eastern end of the historic center, about 500 meters from the Plaza Mayor, was urbanized in the late eighteenth century and was the point of access to the Valley of the Sugar Mills and important commercial artery of the time. There are two buildings, the Chapel of Santa Ana and the Royal Prison.

Principal Theater

The city of Camaguey has had an important cultural performance throughout the years. Cuba’s National Poet Nicolas Guillen was born in this city as well as Cuban singer/songwriter Silvio Rodriguez. The main Principal Theater was opened in 1847 and had a capacity for 1,500 spectators, the stage was large and was considered one of the best in the country for its acoustics. In May 1920 there was an unfortunate fire that destroyed the theater in a few hours. But in 1926 it opened a new one with three floors can accommodate nearly 1,400 spectators, who still works for music, theater and dance.

The Viñales Valley in the Sierra de los Organos near the western end of the island of Cuba is an outstanding karst landscape encircled by mountains and dotted with spectacular dome-like limestone outcrops (mogotes) that rise as high as 300 m. Colonised at the beginning of the 19th century, the valley has fertile soil and a climate conducive to the development of stock-raising and the cultivation of fodder and food crops.Unesco

It is located in the Céspedes Park Santiago de Cuba, it was repeatedly destroyed by the flames, coveted by pirates and privateers; victim hit by earthquakes and hurricanes, today stands the Cathedral of Santiago de Cuba. It was incorporated cathedral in 1522. In 1813, after several reconstructions works, are concluded the fourth and last cathedral, which was granted, in 1882, the title of Minor Basilica . On January 16, 1958 is declared National Monument.
