Visitors will visit La Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Bayamo, Santa Lucia, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara, Guamá, Viñales, Cayo Levisa, Soroa y Las Terrazas, where they will get in contact with its inhabitants and get to know their habits. Clients should be in Havana on Monday to begin the tour on Tuesday.

Day 1 (Monday) HAVANA

Day 2 (Martes) HABANA-SANTIAGO DE CUBA.

Transfer to national flights airport to take flight to Santiago de Cuba or Holguín. (Ticket Included) Upon arrival, transfer to chosen Hotel in Santiago de Cuba... Accommodation in Las Américas, Bucanero, Versalles or similar hotels Dinner in Hotel.

Day 3 (Wednesday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Breakfast. Information Meeting. Visit the Old Car Museum. Tour of Cuba’s second most important city, full of history and music. Capital of Oriente (the Eastern provinces) and the so called cradle of “Son” and the Cuban Revolution. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Moncada Barracks, Céspedes Park, the Museum of Piracy, Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, the Diego Velásquez House. Return to hotel for dinner. Accommodation at Las Américas, Bucanero or Versalles Hotels. Dinner in hotel. Free night.

DAY 4 (Thursday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA – BAYAMO

Breakfast. Departure to Bayamo. On the way visit El Cobre Sanctuary. Visit the city of Bayamo, where Cuba’s National Anthem was born, a city set up by Diego Velázquez in 1513. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon the trip continues on horse-drawn coaches or carriages. Accommodation in Sierra Maestra o similar hotel Dinner in Hotel Free night.

DAY 5 (Friday) BAYAMO- SANTA LUCIA

DAY 6 (Saturday) SANTA LUCIA

DAY 7 (Sunday) SANTA LUCIA- TRINIDAD

Breakfast. Departure to Trinidad, touring the city of Camagüey on your way to Trinidad. The trip continues to Ciego de Ávila. Lunch at local city restaurant. Panoramic tour of the city of Sancti Spíritus The tour continues toward Manaca – Iznaga, the center of the Valley of Sugar Mills, an area which was one of Cuba’s most prosperous regions in the 17th and 18th centuries and still keeps its splendor thanks to sugar cane production. Seasonal fruit tasting. Accommodation in Ancón, Las Cuevas or Costasur Hotels. Dinner in Hotel.

DAY 8 (Monday) TRINIDAD – CIENFUEGOS

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city of Trinidad, a World Cultural Heritage Site, entrance to the Romantic Museum, La Canchánchara Bar. Lunch at local restaurant. The trip continues toward Cienfuegos. Arrival in Cienfuegos. Visit Dolphin Farm in Cienfuegos. Accommodation and dinner at Rancho Luna or Faro de Luna Hotels. Dinner in Hotel.

DAY 9 (Tuesday) CIENFUEGOS- SANTA CLARA-GUAMA- HAVANA

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city of Cienfuegos, the so called Perl of the South, a city founded by the French. Departure to Santa Clara. Visit the Mausoleum of Ché and the Armored Train. Panoramic tour of the city, the tour continues toward Montemar Park. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Taino Village, Crocodile Breeding Farm, the trip continues to Havana. Accommodation in Occidental MonteHabana Hotel.

DAY 10 (Wednesday) HAVANA

Breakfast. Tour of Havana City including the visit of the outside areas of the Morro-Cabaña Park; walking tour through the squares, monuments, buildings of the Colonial Havana, visiting the fortresses and constructions built by the Spaniards from the 16th to the 19th centuries, with opportunities to buy pieces of handicraft; on your way visit La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant and main streets like Obispo Boulevard. Stopping at El Capitolio; the trip continues with a stop in Revolution Square; Return to the Hotel (Lunch not included) Accommodation at Occidental Monte Habana Hotel.

DAY 12 (Friday) HAVANA- VIÑALES

Breakfast. Departure to Viñales Valley, in Pinar del Río, Cuba’s westernmost province, where the best tobacco in the world is grown. Visit Cigar Factory. Tour of the valley, visiting the Prehistoric Mural. Lunch at local restaurant. Optional visit to the Indian’s Cave. On your way, visit Casa del Veguero to take a look at tobacco plantations (in tobacco growing season) and its process. Visit Los Jazmines Observation Area Accommodation at Los Jazmines, La Ermita, or Rancho San Vicente Hotels. Dinner in hotel.

DAY 13 (Saturday) VIÑALES- LEVISA KEY-SOROA

Breakfast. Departure to Palma Rubia dock to board the boat that will take you to Levisa Key, where you will enjoy an unforgettable day in the ocean, on a white-sand key with beautiful coral depths. Marine lunch. Departure to Soroa. Accommodation at Villa Soroa Hotel.

DAY 14 SOROA - LAS TERRAZAS – HAVANA

Breakfast. Visit Orchid Field and Soroa’s Waterfall. Visit cigar factory in Candelaria. The trip continues to Las Terrazas. Visit the community, optional canopy jump. Visit the Farmers House. Lunch at restaurant in the area. In the afternoon, take a swim in the San Juan River. The plaza was originally called Plaza Nueva (New Square). It emerged as an open space in 1559, after the Plaza de Armas and San Francisco. In colonial times it was a residential neighborhood of the Criollo plutocracy. Plaza Vieja was the site of executions, processions, bullfights, and fiestas all witnessed by Havana's wealthiest citizens, who looked on from their balconies. The Paseo del Prado emerged as a need for growth of the city, beyond the limits they imposed the walls. At that time the public spaces in the area intramural, for recreation and social life outdoors were insufficient. The walk or extramural mall, built by the Colonial Government, was about one kilometer long and spread over the earth wall and between the two doors that counted. It is considered one of the oldest buildings in the city, where three centuries of architectural elements are combined. It is said that the Canchánchara was an ancient drink that prepared the mambises, where brandy with honey and any citrus fruit that came to hand mixing. It served to withstand the cold in the jungle and offset, to some extent, the consequences of machete charges. The mixture of its strong ingredients, allowed them to warm up the chest and protected from various respiratory conditions

Playa Santa Lucia

Some 110 kilometers east of the city of Camaguey you can find the Santa Lucia Beach. It is protected by a coral barrier of some 20 kilometers in length and is one of the three largest beaches in Cuba. It is ideal for snorkelling and water sports and has first class hotels with great comfort like the Gran Club Santa Lucia Hotel with some 400 rooms and 150 bungalows and above all with an endless beach with much to discover. Close by you can find the northern keys of Jardines del Rey; also Sabinal with its lighthouse which is the highest in Cuba with beaches and Paredon Grande.
