For its privileged geographic position, Cuba is visited each year by a large amount of migratory birds, many of which make a brief visit to the island to rest after long journeys and then continue their flight towards the south; others receive the category of winter birds for remaining on the island until the spring.
Cuba is an attractive destination for bird watchers for its geographic location, the conservation of its ecosystems, sub tropical climate, great biodiversity, and high level of endemism.
You will tour the City of Havana, also Trinidad and panoramic visit to the cities of Cienfuegos and Santa Clara. You will be able to enjoy bird watching in one of the areas with the most diversity of endemic and migratory birds: Zapata Peninsula (one of the largest wetlands in the region) where you will lodge for 2 nights and enjoy night bird watching; afterwards visit another rich area: Guayanara Park in Topes de Collantes, located in the Sierra de Escambray Mountains located in the south center part of the island.
